antenna

What is the best antenna for use with a converter?
I'm in an apartment complex and I'm using one of new converter boxes to watch TV. My problem is that if I just used the antenna, I get no more channels problem, but when I attach the converter, I lose some of those channels and more I get to come very badly. I think I need a new antenna to boost my signal. If anyone has any links to a product they recommend, I'd be very grateful.
Answer 1 is correct and you may also try web antenna for more info. You can put in your location, etc., and they can tell you what may work for you. http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx
